I am nominating Juan Salinas for embodying the value of lifelong learning because although Juan has experienced challenges that have made him deficient in credits and identified as "chronically absent, " Juan has made it an effort to improve each day. During his breaks, Juan logs into Edgenuity to work on recovering his credits and he has also taken the initiative to establish attendance goals. Additionally, Juan proudly shares his progress with the team at Fowler Academy. Lastly, Juan has participated in our last 2 field trips that are after school hours, despite whether other peers would attend. He attended for his benefit, these field trips were: College Night & the Career Tech Expo. We are proud of Juan!!
